Help installing custom firmware on 3.80 PSP Slim

So I bought a PSP Slim yesterday, and it came with factory 3.80 firmware.

I know there are guides out there, but they are extremely confusing, and since my psp is already 3.80, I don't know if I can follow those guides.

I had a PSP FAT before, and I know you couldn't install any custom firmware on ta-82 motherboard versions, does the psp slim have different versions too?

Please help me, how can I install custom firmware on my psp slim?

ALL motherboards can have custom firmware. my fat psp is a ta-082 motherboard, and i put 3.52 m33-4 on it with no problems. my psp slim has 3.90 m33-2 on it.

use THIS guide to get custom firmware.
