Hi, Since I did not flash my xbox 360 myself, I was wondering if anybody out there has, and if so, does it result in the warranty seal being broken? any help would be appreciated.

Yes, the warranty sticker has been broken and I was wondering whether during the process of flashing is necessary to break it.

Thanks ste0087, OK, so it can be done. My other question is because I have no idea how to flash an xbox 360 with Ixtreme firmware, why does the warranty sticker have to be removed or broken? is to access the motherboard if so why? Thanks for your help.

wow. the sticker has to be removed in order to get to the dvd to flash it. no offense or anything, but if you are planning on doing this, you really need to read A LOT MORE before you attempt this. otherwise you will end up ruining your computer or 360.

no wabashman I dont plan to try to flash my xbox 360 it has already been flashed with Ixtreme V1.4 and Im happy to say my backups work a treat. just gathering some info as to why my warranty seal was broken, because I assumed the flash was done by a USB connection between the xbox 360 and a computer.

The DVD drive of the 360 has to be connected directly to your computers's motherboard, thats why your seal was broken
