recently my hardrive kept getting e68 and e69 errors because of somethin i did i guess. i wanted to buy a WD Scorpio 120GB Hard Drive but i want to know if you will be able to download marketplace content onto it as well as save games and profiles if i used the hdd hacker tool

Last I read, there's 2 versions of that scoripo drive, and the hddhackr will only support the LAT version. So watch which one you order.

Also, you will need to get your hands on a valid 120 gig security sector file (hddss.bin) in order to use it with the 360.

Just a note if you don't have your own ss file. It was believed that it was possible for MS to detect that file and some were banned from LIVE due to having matching files. Just something to keep in mind and maybe research some more if you do play to move forward.

But to answer your question, once all is said and done, it will function as an official MS hdd, so you could download and store your marketplace content on it.
