Im going to order a WhisperMax fan soon and was wondering since Ive read some posts,people said that the opening of the case was hard.As for me,the only part thats hard is the side with the HDD where you have to take out the side panel off the HDD side.I want to protect my investment of 450 or so dollars,(My 360 Elite),and have made my own way to open the xbox 360 but Im a little confused on the side panel with the HDD for removal.So should I get the opening kit to make eeverything way easier.
I dont care about the buying part just to see if the opening tool saves time.My 360 will look nice pretty soon and I was just wanting to know these things. Thanks all experts and people who reply

I'd buy the tool, i've seen some videos and it seems pretty easy to use. Make sure you get the Elite adapter if your replacing the fan, because the connectors are diferent on the Elite.

I've opened plenty of 360s with no specialized 360 tools.

I'd suggest youtube as there are plenty of tutorials on this.

From Me: I agree but the New Talismoons come with a 3 pin power cable because whisper max fans are revisionsof the older whisperfans.It said it on www.llama.com
Im buying the opening kit.Too bad I cant flash my drive thought cuz it might b a v79.Sh**.sucks man.thanks for the help
