Hello Afterdawn Community!

I have just a few questions, and my apologies if any of these have been addressed previously.

1. What is "bricking" exactly? From what've I have been able to gather, its just updating from a foreign region game disc. If I were to just stay updated using wifi, wouldn't I be able to avoid all of this?

2. Decided to go Argon w/ the Injectus for my D2C Wii. This modchip stood above the others due to its great community and contant updates. I read that there are four optional wires to solder for "Region-Free", what exactly is that? Would that prevent the chance of bricking my Wii, or just allow me to play games from other regions?

3. What're some good places to order from? I was considering Modchip Central, but the only way to purchase the chip is in a bundle (including triwing, wire, and solder). I already have plenty of Kester rosin-core, wire and I can borrow a triwing, but I was wondering what the solder and wire they include is and whether I should use that instead?

4. Is there anything else worth mentioning? Just trying to not go wrong =).

Thanks in advance,
Bean.

1. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/523776

2. It will allow you to play other-region games. You can still brick your Wii.

3. Just go with modchipcentral. I use them and they are great. I don't understand your question.

4. Read through the stickies and use the search button.
