Burn Problem...

So i Got an iso.
I tried burning it using image burn.
it gets through about 75% or so and then error.

I dont know if it is just a coincidence or something.
but i didnt want to try again cause i only have 1 DL disk left.

I tried the errored-dvd on my wii.
and the game comes up and plays and everything.
But im not sure what will happen if i continue it,
or get farther into the game.

My Media is...
Memorex DVD+R DL
IMGBURN at 2.4x

Wii 3.2U
with Wiikey 1.9s
...

Anyways... Im pretty much wondering how this is possible that
even though the burn errored out at like 75ish percent,
the game still reads and runs...

I wanna know what could possibly happen if i continue to play it.

You'll more than likely run through an error when the laser reaches to a certain part of the game. Try not using any crappy Memorex DVDs next time.

Yeah, it was the only DL disks i could find. and i was in urgent need of one back then. came in a pack of 3... theyre quite expensive... haha

If you want to. Those Memorex discs can come in handy as coasters y'know....

update the firware on the DVD writer, that could be causing some probs if its outdated.

Actually memorex is one of the media types ppl seem to be having more success with when burning Dual layer - Single layer, memorex users do have problems (not all before somebody pipes up and says how great they are). I was gonna get some memorex DL myself because I'd read as much but they were out of stock and more expensive than the Verbatims I ended up buying - which worked fine. I have also have good results with cheap Aones though I had to use a different burner than my usual one to burn those.

As the previous poster says, a firmware update might well sort your issue.
