Hello everyone im new to this board and to this homebrew stuff.
IF i am posting this in the wrong section i am sorry and if there is a guide for this please just tell me where i can find it. And if not can some1 please explain this to be like if they were explaining it to a 3rd grader, im kinda slow ='[.
OK ill give u the details.
My friend is into all this stuff and a couple months ago he put some GBA games on my psp, but hes not in the country for @ least 2 more weeks. Before he left I saw him playing Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and he didnt even own the psp rom he was playing it from his memory stick. SO after he left i started doing more research and stuff but i dont understand any of it. So far this is the only site i have found that has been some what helpful.
Details of PSP
-the Firmware is 3.71 M33-2. My friend did it and i think he said something about it being custom.
-its the old fat psp

Well your PSP is set up for playing games from the memory card, as you have custom firmware.
However, if your friend didnt own the game he was playing in UMD format, it is likely it was downloaded illegally, and so if thats what you are wanting to do, it cannot be discussed here. We can tell you how to play your backup games from the memory stick though if thats what you are wanting??
By the way, you should upgrade to 3.90M33-3 to play the newest games. Plus, it helps you with No-UMD mode (can play downloaded games without a UMD in your PSP), as it has been improved.
