My Ps3 has the latest firmware (2.20) and my PsP has 3.71 m33-2, forgive my paranoia but have sony put anything in place that will brick your PsP or force you to update to a legit firmware ?

Dont worry its safe. Sony cant force us to upgrade, its ur choice.
