I recently bought a new xbox 360 and before flashing i decides to update the dashboard to the latest. When i tried connecting to xbox live there issnt any update for me but before connecting to xbox live there is a security update. Could anyone please enlight me on how do i check if i got the latest version of the dashboard ?

Go over to your system tab. Select console settings. Scroll all the way down to system info and select it. It'll give you your current dashboard. The latest is 2.0.6683.0.
