Please be patient with me i am so new to all the computer stuff, i want to help pass the time for my husband while he is in Afghanistan for 15 months...

I downloaded Dvd Shrink, and i am downloading Nero now! Are these the best programs to burn DVDS with? Do i need any other program to make this work? I am so clueless when it comes to this computer stuff...

Nikii- get some blank DVD-R/+R, make sure your burner supports DVD burning

then use this great guide by loco to learn how to create DVDS (software is free)

what did you burn with nero 8 ,imgburn etc ??

use good blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning at 4x to 8x max on a clean machine with the most up to date firmware for your drive/burner

are you converting avi files(downloaded files) or backing up a normal dvd?

fujifilm aren't to good they code out as prodisc which are near the bottom for quality. just keep your burn speed at 4x max using them
