I updated my XBC to 2.7 and ran the scan on the same ISO, it passed.

WTF!? .. is this safe or not?

XBC 2.3 is pretty old. I believe issues started with it back when Star Trek Legacy came out. The latest XBC is 2.8.

You may also want to try XDVDmulleter as many people seem to prefer the stealth check on that program (freeware) then the one on XBC.
