Ok, so i had my PSP (running 3.71 M33-4) connected to my PC earlier (connected but not reading/writing any files), when suddenly it disconnects from the PC, the screen goes black and a black square flashes slowly. i turned off the PSP and switched it back on. The opening plugin sound played, but when it tried to load the XMB, the black screen came back up. I turned the PSP off again, but then it would not turn back on at all.
I quickly got out my Pandora Kit and re-flashed the firmware and all is working again now, but i have no idea what caused this at all.

The PSP had about 75% battery, and as stated was connected to PC via USB, but no files were being written or read.

I have never heard of this before, so just wondered if any of you guys had an idea what happened?

Thanks,

IbizaGTI

Yes, i've never heard of anything like this either...luckily the pandora sorted it out, but id like to know what caused it in case it happens again.

yup, because i charged it all last nite, and it has only been played for 2 hours or so today. I checked again after re-flashing and it was at 72%.

Could the battery have caused it? Its a original SLIM battery, never been hard or soft modded or anything like that.
