Disturbances by DVD-9 layer switch?

I hope that this is the right forum for this problem.

I use DVD Decrypter and Elby?s CloneDVD for backing up my DVD?s (all latest versions).

Now I notice at some copies one short (0.5 sec) audio/video freeze. At my music DVD?s this freeze is always in between songs and somewhere half way the concert.

I think that this has something to do with the layer switch in DVD-9 DVD´s. Are there people who experienced the same and how can I avoid this in the future?
