So I am totally new to modding your xbox so bear with me...

1) What is the difference between flashing you xbox 360 and installing a mod chip, do you still have to flash it if you get a mod chip?

2) Why would anyone want to spend over $50 for a mod chip if they could just flash it for free, because you have to open it any ways?

3) I have researched this Xeno top gear thing and it did not mention anything about being able to burn games and play them, it just talks about transferring files from computer to you 360, so can you download games and burn them and play them?

4) I have also read about this program called game copy pro that claims you do not need to install a mod chip or open your 360 and you can play burnt games no problem. Is this true? a scam?

5) I would just like to know your opinion on the best, easiest and cheapest way to mod my xbox without damaging it because I have never soldered in my life...

yeah read the stickys and the noob guide.

But here is quick rundown: FW flash is the way to go, it was what began the whole scene and it dominates the scene. There is no reason for a modchip. And you don't need any commercial game copy pro or any of that bs.
