MPG Converting Error?

I'm trying to convert some .vob/.mpgs to .avi. I've used virtual dub forever and I've never run into a problem like this. When I go to upload the clip into virtual dub I get:




Then I ran the file through MPG corrector, and when I went to upload the file into virtual dub I get this error:




Do you have any suggestions? I thank you all in advance!

The unofficial VirtualDub site has a number of references to this message.
BTW are you using the latest version of VirtualDub with the MPEG plugin (not VirtualDub MPEG), because 'FCChandler', who created the plugin, hangs out at this site - as does the creator of VirtualDub.
