I heard that the Wiikey has a power fluctuation problem and could burn my chip and system if it is second gen Wii. Is there any truth to this? What modchip is people using now for D2B chip with drive pins cut? Is there a power regulator to correct the problem on the Wiikey?

"I heard" is hearsay... plz post sources.... but I've heard nothing about this and it's clearly not a widespread problem because the vast majority of wiikey owners are still happily able to run their Wii as they have done since the day they got it chipped.
