It WAS back up for a short time between Dec. 2007 and now.

Wiimii,

The wiikey team has been making software available through other forums and boards. Their site was getting hacked regularly and rather than spend time defending, they just decided to leave it down. was

Why should anyone care? I never bothered to visit it after it went down months ago. There was no reason. Any downloads they offered were easily obtainable through a google search or just about any other release site. As far as updates with regards to info, I always got my information about wiikey updates from other sources before they even had it on their main site. The whole site has been pretty much pointless which is why is hasn't been a big deal for most people. As far as it's "reemergence"... I don't think anybody really gave a damn! LOL

Oh I agree - I think it's all "here today, gone tomorrow" BS and I expected as much (and indeed posted stuff suggesting it could disappear any minute yesterday as it happens) but I thought it was funny you telling the guy it was gone "for ages"... And actually I think ppl do give a damn. There are many worrying what they'll do just like we've seen from ppl posting over recent months. I don't cos it's pointless imho and I've said that frequently.
