Should I buy used psp from gamestop?

Where can i buy one from, im looking for a phat, and avoiding slims at the moment. I was thinking of getting one on ebay, but ebay is a place for scams, and plus i wont have any warranty and may have something broken. Craigslist in my area have the psp at a high price and the only thing kinda cheap is the slim.
So i was thinking of gamestop, it cost 130 used, but slims are 170 new which made me not want to buy it. it cost alot and i want a slim but i want a phat because i want to do some customizations on the phat. Another thing is the quality of these, anyone know their return policy and if they will take it back if say the wifi board is dead? I don't think gamestop is a very good place either, some online site say they purchase a new game, and received a used one they also tried to do this to me once. its prob the workers though, sell the new to friends and used to customers who bought it at the new price.

Well, my main question is should i buy a used psp from gamestop and have anyone had any good experience with their refurbished psp? I wont be able to check outthe psp before i buy would i?

i bought my used psp phat at ebgames and when i dropped it and the battery fell out while it was updating, it stopped working. i took it back, they said the motherboard fried, and replaced it free be cause of the warranty.

Have a look at your local craigslist. I got my phat PSP in pristine condition for 90$, then I sold the games it came with for $25. Almost free ;)

Yea, craigslist dont have any phat, n when they do it is kinda far away, there was one for 175, include game, 1gb, and a long 50 cd size carrying case, n org box, said it was used twice though. i might consider getting this though, or maybe from gamestop, crap online says gamestop in my location dont have it anymore. I'm going down south next week, so i could get it from EB.

Could i not see it before i buy it?
