AVG 8.0 may be causing me a problem with IE

Alright heres the situation.

Installed AVG 8.0 (full version) and I am running with windows Vista as the OS.

Now for some strange reason when I want to login to my hotmail account it is taking a extremely long time to load.

Anyone have any suggestions to why this is? (AVG I assume)
Or some settings I need to change to get this annoying situation to disappear?

use firefox 2 instead. if u rly like IE then get themes and plugins accordingly
