(Fat PSP) Screen distorts when case is pressed or UMD door is opened or closed

Afternoon all. I have a question (I hope) can be answered. My friends PSP (FAT) screen distorts if you press on the bottom left or the upper right corners, and when the UMD door is being opened or closed. I took apart the PSP and checked all of the cables, ribbons, soldier points, checked for shorts, and did not find anything wrong or lose. I was going to change the screen, but I do not think that is bad. The weird thing is, when I hold the PSP upright (like I am playing it), open or close the door a little, the screen will go from normal to distorted (or lines through it). If I press on the side of the PSP, it does the same thing. I have taken apart the PSP almost down to the UMD casing. Any thoughts? I have taken a few PSPs apart before, and managed to fix them, but this one has me stumped...
