R Button Problem

OK.. I am running 3.90 m33 on my fat psp.. it has been working great. Today I tried to play some games and the R button wasn't working. I can go into the configure menu if I hold down R when I start the PSP, but it does not work in games. I have tried both god of war and patapon. They worked fine before.

Any help?
