My HD-DVD movies play correctly now, its sad that I have to get a blu-ray. I have to buy a PS3 now, Sony is some what forcing their console upon many people since the integrated blu-ray player is much cheaper than the standalones.

Sony isn't putting a gun to your head and telling you to buy a PS3 or they will kill you. So they arn't forcing anyone.

It just makes the most of sense to get a PS3 because it's the cheapest Blu Ray Player and the hardware inside, they are now getting DTS-HD through an update, and it claimed to be the best Blu Ray player out there, so why pay more, for less?

And if you do not want HD, then just don't buy anything.

Huh?!?!?

Sony is "forcing" you to buy their console because it is the best Blu-Ray player value on the market? And that is bad?

WTF kinda logic is that?

I think that Microsoft did a good thing in still supporting the people who are using the HD-DVD drive. Despite all of the critisizms both ways, that is a good thing to do for the people who feel like they might have been left in the dust because of the HD-DVD failure. I am not a fanboy of MS, but I do appreciate that they still have support for the people that use the HD add-on.

For those still supporting hd-dvd movies like me and moving on to blu-ray. I suggest you purchase the LG BH200 player. LG has announced that they will continue to support hd-dvd movies in the market and have announced a new firmware update for the player. This player is cool - I love it. I now enjoy all my hd-dvd movies and blu-rays and i am taking advantage of the hd-dvd fire sales.

The update for the LG-BH200 will also make the player 2.0 blu-ray compatible and eliminate all playback issues and sound issues for both formats.

LG looks like the last supporter for hd-dvd titles and will possibly release a future player that will still play both formats.

Here is the last home for Cheap HD-DVD titles - located at hddvdboxsets.com

Funny, I never saw the guy once mention anything about DRM or Sony being evil.

He simply made a statement that the only logical answer for jumping on the Blu-ray bandwagon, would be to get a PS3. Maybe "forcing" wasn't the correct word to use, but either way, it makes sense.

If you are tired of reading comments about anti-Sony, DRM this, and BD+ that, then ignore them. When you leave comments like you did, you are just adding fuel to the fire.
