Samsung D900 Bluetooth Wont Switch Off.......

Hi All
I hope someone out there can help.....I have a Samsung D900 with the Bluetooth switched on (which is draining the battery)..it wont find any devices (to connect to) but more importantly i cant switch it off!

Ive reset the phone to factory settings.. but when i attempt to switch the bluetooth off it just freezes the phone.

It was a contract phone with orange but not any longer(if that makes a difference) Has anyone got any ideas?

Surly it doesnt need to be unlocked...but if it does how?
