I am creating my DVD and menus using TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 with DivX Authoring.

When I get to the last step to burn the DVD, the computer crashes and I get a Blue Screen with the error: PFN_List_Corrupt.

Do I need to use another piece of software like Nero to burn the DVD or is there a way I can use the above software to create the DVD and fix this error.

I'm running Windows Vista with 2gigs of RAM and 500megs in the harddrive.

It's a system error caused possibly by a bad driver or faulty
memory. Do a Google search for more details and troubleshooting tips.

I have. It's not the memory nor the driver.

If I disable the driver that is causing the error from the Windows diagnostic, the error appears still.

All burning software works on this computer on both the D and E drives without this blue screen of death.

If I remove the driver and the registry portion of this error, the E drive disappears and the D drive stops working.

All of my research on this error points to the software which the company has recognized is the problem with Vista.

My E drive is not compatible with their software HOWEVER my D drive is. The blue screen happens on the D drive as well.

I have forwarded all my information and my errors to tech support of the software which in turn they stated they are forwarding to the developers of the software.

The "typical" fixes for this error does not work on every piece of software or memory. A little more research was needed on my part past the "link" that everyone gives for this error.

Which driver did you disable? Please provide some more details.
What "registry portion" ?
Which software has a known problem with Vista ? Tmpgenc Dvd Author 3.0 ?

The driver is This:

The tech support rep from Tmpgenc Dvd Author 3.0 stated that they are forwarding all my information to the developers. No matter what I do to avoid the "blue screen" it doesn't work.

=========================

The information on the drivers in the registry is found here:
http://www.runscanner.net/files/sys/cdrbsdrv/cdrbsdrv.sys.aspx

This driver is attached to the CD-Rom drives. If it's removed (as some have stated in other places on the internet), then the CD-Rom will not work even if you do not have this software (B's Recorder Gold) installed on your system.

I never installed this software in the year I've had this computer.

Thanks for the info.

Have you checked the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Is the driver mentioned in either lowerfilters or upperfilters ?
