3.40 OE-A to 3.71 M33 Latest...Please Help Me

Well...

First off I go into the registry by holding R when I start my PSP to get the Registry screen and In Configuration EVERYTHING is Disabled and Kernel is set to 3.40..

I just did all the stuff from here to update to 3.52 M33 because people say you have to upgrade 3 times to get to 3.71 M33..

This is the video I used...

Every Update I try to Install I get the custom load screen I have and then the screen stays black and the PSP Shuts off...

How do I get my 3.40 OE-A to 3.71 M33 (Latest version) without bricking? And will my CW Cheat and Cheatmaster still be the same if I upgrade or will I have to reinstall and do it all over again?

I have backed up all my PSP Memory Stick Stuff...

When I downgraded originally I was using a PSP Sony 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo and I just got a 8GB A little later and I have been using it since...

So please help...

Follow THIS guide by sicdude to get your PSP from OE any OE custom firmware to 3.71 M33-4.

- Copy the UPDATE directory into /PSP/GAME/UPDATE and copy the EBOOT.PBP of the 3.71 Sony updater (PLEASE Explain this better Do I rename it..I look in GAME>Memory Stick and get Corrupt Data)

I Copied the EBOOT.PBP and then I pasted it in the same folder and renamed it but it still gives me an error saying it can't find it.

It says..Verifying 371.PBP...Incorrect File and my PSP Restarts...

I copied these folders to my PSP>GAME>UPDATE

I added...UPDATE and sk..

I copied EBOOT.PBP in Update and pasted in the same folder and renamed it to 371.PBP

You need to get the OFFICIAL Sony 3.71 update file, it will probably be named update.pbp. rename this file to 371.pbp and save it in \PSP\GAME\UPDATE.

let me know if that doesn't work.

Where do I get it...I downloaded these...

3.71 M33: http://www.psp-vault.com/UpDownload-req-...ls-lid-2140.psp
and 3.71 Update file: http://www.psp-vault.com/UpDownload-req-getit-lid-2123.psp

So Where do I get the official 3.71 SONY Update and explain the steps...

Because when I download from the first link I get this file...

Corrected...

I DOWNLOADed...the Second Update and renamed and it is working..

So after it is done do I have to do any more? Do I have to do these..

- You should be now in 3.71 M33

All you need to do now is install the updates
so here we go

Also after I Update can I drag and drop the backup I made originally of my PSP SaveData and ISOs and CM and CWCheat??

no idea about CM and CWCheat, but I just updated from 3.40 OE-A to 3.90M33-2.. I was able to copy over my saves and ISOs no problem.
