Ok, maybe others new this but I sure didn't. Man, Im reallt stoked about this game.

Yeah I know. Theres alot of confusion about the pack being in with MGS4.
Also its the whole MGO, not a demo or preview as some people think.
There will be downloadable content though, like maps, weapons etc.
I cant wait for this!
Definatley the game im looking most forward to!
June 12th is so far away though. (-_-)

Yeah, and all because they called it the MGO "starter pack". Bad move on their part for not specifying earlier even though it probably is the best term to use in this case.
I just pre-ordered and payed for my copy of the limited edition of the game; totally stoked.

Id love the limited edition one, but I dont think the UK gets it. Isnt it only sold at gamestop in america?
I wish I lived in America, the only thing in the UK I like is the 'bad' weather.
Oh well, as long as I play the game im happy. Im pre ordering mine as soon as I get the money.

I got mine from EB games in Canada. If you've got a division of EB games in Britain it certainly wouldnt hurt to call and ask if you can pre order the LE copy.

I'm glad they decided to do it this way. A week and a half until the beta. I can't wait, the game looks sick.

Ah I see what you mean, whats the point of downloading it if it can't be played? Would there be a way to get it running over LAN?

they said the point is that they expect their servers to be congested so they want everybody to have time to d/l it before play starts.

Right. It would've been a shame if it was like Vegas 2 where the servers were crap for a week because we only get two weeks. I've never played the first MGO but I've heard good and bad things about the first one.

Well the first one was only really to test the idea of MGO for mgs4, it was essentially a sub-beta. That being said there were tons of glitches and ways to cheat because of it the more infamous one was called the dead body glitch. All and all it was good fun though.
