Okay, so I know that XBOX 360 kicks PS2's but in the online experience, but are there any games that are decent online for PS2. I'm looking for a combat game that is well organized and has a decent fan base. Yes I do realize that I sound like I am on a dating website right now. :)

Socom series has always been a popular online FPS title for ps2. don't know how popular it is now since the next gens are out.

I dont know anybody who plays combat games online for the ps2
But the FIFA 07-08 are extremely popular online, 1000+ people.
