you do not necessarily need a second battery because you hard mod after you pandora and have custom firmware, plugin the psp to the ac adaptor and remove the pandora battery boot the psp nto the xmb use the upmsv3r3 (a cso that creates an ultimate pandoras memory stick on custom firmware) and select the option to write the sleep fix ipl this will let the psp boot in to normal mode with a pandora and if you want to load the pandora menu just hold the left trigger while turining on the psp..
***this may not work for some users some psps will not boot with out a battery after the installation of custom firmware although i have never had this problem another user reported as many a 3 in 20 have this issue.
