can't extract game files

I don't know if I have this line of question in the right area. If not I apologize but of late all game files I download I get errors when I try to extract them. I use IzArc to extract my files. Is anyone else having these sort of problems doing the same?

Ive never had problems. I just used Winrar, you might be able to get it free but I just got the trial version which expired ages ago but still alows me to use it :)
