Friends I have a collection of files that are in different formats like WMV, AVI, MPEG-1 and so on?..I want to convert them into dvd format so that I can use this one on dvd players. Please suggest me any good software that I can use.

Maybe sometimes I also have come across this kind of phenomenon.but I have solve it by search the website online.
In order to get a good dvd format .we can choose some good website to manhunt it whihc will comply with your demand.
I have search the dvd format from this website which comes from the china electronics wholesale:

maybe if you have some sparetime you should to looking for it.
it will let you down for ever.
