Is there a way to get a copied game(cd or dvd) to work on a ps2????(fat or slim(tell me which is better for copying))
I dont care if I have to use a knife or make a slide tool or anything, but is there a way that is totally free? I am really new to this so any extra explaination would be appreciated.

Maybe, not tested this but I'm guessing if you have a friend who's installed cogswap and and other loaders onto their memory card using the exploit, you could just copy his memory card onto yours. As long as you have the same trigger disk, it may work. Just buy the game secondhand.

No. There is not a free way for you to play backups without paying for some sort of mod.

Nope adding an already exploited memory card to yours doesnt work, I just tried it.

Best thing is to get an original copy of Swap Magic, some say 3.6 is better than the newer 3.8 version that's out, I cant seem to find a straight answer to that though.

If you know someone who already has Swap Magic see if you can borrow it then install cogswap to the memory card. If you do have a look at this list http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/182717 and buy the biggest size game you can get. If you already have one then all the better. Best to have a game which is 4.30GB minimum.

If you have a fat ps2 I recommend you also get a network adaptor for your ps2 and add a hard drive. That way you can just install the games to the hdd rather than copying to dvds. But even second hand adaptors cost almost the same prive as ones that havent been used. ebay the best place to get them since nonoe sells network adaptors anymore.
