Well, actually I didn't notice this before but juz recently when I was playing God Of War :)
Actually, when I push the analog right (diagonally right too), then Kratos (i.e the character) runs right (Full tilt right) and then when I leave the analog then the character walks right (Indicating that the analog is being pushed slowly to the right) >_<
I doubt this is a dead zone problem cuz well, when I push it left and then when the analog goes back to the centre, then the character juz remains in his position >_> [If it was a dead zone problem, then when the analog was in the center, the character would still be moving right]
This only happens when we push the analog right and then when it goes back to the center (This mostly happens when I push it diagonally right)
I'm assuming that some dust must have accumulated beneath the analog >_<
So, I'm planning to open up my PSP and clean it :)
So, should I go further with this decision or does anyone know a fix to this problem w/o opening up the PSP (And voiding the warranty)

once i saw this >_> and >_< . I knew it was acidy. But, anyway ... im assuming all ur games works fine without having this problem ? But anyway, u may want to take the analog out and check if there is anything wrong with it.
EDIT: Just pull the analog out (slowly). It wont void ur warranty. Hope u feel better :)

I never really thought I would come to use warranty. I never opened a slim, but a little cleansing should do the trick. Unless you have an air gun or a dust off can to squeeze through the analog circle. I say don't open it unless you have experience with slims.
P.S. those extra challenges are fun for gow, keep you busy.
It's a PSP classic :)
I opened my PSP and cleaned the analog but still, the "going right" problem exists :(
I think it's a dead zone problem :(
But then I started GoW with my PSP's front faceplate removed and the analog was not in contact with the PSP >_>
Then when I started the game, then the character runs diagonally down-right o_O [Remember that my PSP's front faceplate is removed and the analog isn't in contact]
Well, I juz finished GoW :) Nice game but my analog ruined some part of my fun :(
I was browsing through ebay and found that replacement PSP analogs come cheap ($4.00)
So, will fitting that fix the problem ??? o_O [Considering you read the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs of this post]
Note : Oh and in my previous posts I made a mistake !!!
The character used to move right improperly and not left
Another EDIT : I fixed my previous posts
Another EDIT : Well, I fixed my problem :)
There is a plugin named "Joysens" that fixes the analog problem :)
