Ok, so I modded my second PSP black case to a Clear Case. Everything went all right. Then I opened it up one more time to change the faceplate and when I did that and turned it on everything was fine. Here's comes the problem: I put in a UMD and then it wouldn't start. I heard TICKING in the PSP. I was like WTF? So I opened the face place and I didn't remove the LCD, but rather popped it up. So then I put a UMD in again and it works but I hear some sort of Scraping/Scratching. What can that be and how do I fix it.

I also must admit that when I changed the faceplate, I did squeeze it kind of hard. :-/

What should I do?

Get all of the screws back out? My PSP doesnt play UMD's, I just play ISO from memory card

well try to open it back up and find your problem, or you might have broke the UMD outer case, I had the same prob, but it was the UMD, not the PSP. (PSP hardmodding is fun! I hardmodded my slim to have 1.50 kernal use!.

I found a bricked psp a year ago and me and my friend smashed it. But a week later we heard about pandora. oops...
