i have a psp phat firmware 3.80 m33 and a psp slim firmware 3.6 i created a pandora's battery and magic memory stick now when i put the battery and the memory stick in the psp slim it turns on but the screen remains black i have looked all ove and i have no idea what to do, i put the memory stick and battery in my phat psp and it runs just fine so what ami doing wrong????

I'm not sure if this works for all slims because i haven't tried it but my mate had the same issue when he used a pandora and magic memory stick, he sloved it by just hitting x or o when the screen was black. This started the automatic update.

you need to have the correct magic memory stick. the original one will not work on the psp slim. you will need the universal unbricker v3 or v4 for the slim.

The "X" push only applies to slims. Try to give more information. Did you do this with a windows xp, which installer did you use, what size memory card you use, softmodded or hardmodded?
