Hello. I just recently bought a new PS2 Network Adaptor for my second PS2, for use with my 320GB Maxtor STM3320620A HDD, but it's not working the way it should. When I first setup and boot up HDLoader using the second Network Adaptor, it starts up right away. After a few reset here and there, it freezes at the loading screen (as if the PS2 had stop reading the HDD). I took a look at the second adaptor and realize it has a DATE CODE of 3B, whereas my first adaptor has a DATE CODE of 5A. I'm assuming there is some type of capability issue because when I reconnect the first adaptor (5A), HDLoader boots up fine. I forgot but I once read it somewhere that the 3B was Japanese region. I'm not sure to believe that. What I want to know is, what's the difference between the two and what are all the possible Network Adaptor version, besides the 5A, that's compatible or might be compatible with the HDD? I know there's a lot of intelligent and experienced induvidual in Afterdawn, so please reply with whatever you know. Thanks in advance and any input is greatly appreciated/helpful.
