8X burn quality

Hello all

I just installed my PX-708 last night so I ripped Blade Runner with Decrypter and burned with RecordNow. The files came to just under 4.3 gig and the burn was completed in just under 9 min. I immediately watched it all the way through with perfect results. I used the included media (Taiyo Yuden). This just seems weird because I'm more the "slow and steady" type when it comes to burning discs.

I thought it might be interesting to get some opinions and experiences together as to how these new 8X drives are doing and what media works best with them. I have some TDK 4X +R's that my (brilliant!) niece gave me for Christmas that I will try soon and report back.
