Hi!
I have a problem. Would you like to help me?
I have a PC Pentium 4,
2GHz,
60 GB hard disk and
Windows XP.
I have worked with your excellent ?Guide for 16:9 anamorphic movies? but I have stucked.
I have download DVD2AVI 1.77.3.
I follow your guide:
File and then Open
(I open a folder named ?1? where I have:
vts 01 1.vob
vts 01 2.vob
vts 01 3.vob etc.
I select vts 01 1.vob, click OK, hit F5, write down the information and then click ESC.
Then I go:
Audio then track number then I select track ?1?,
I select 48 to 44.1 then Ultra High
Dolby Digital Decode then Dolby Surround Downmix and
Dynamic Range Control then Normal.
File then Save Project and I choose as destination a folder named ?2?.
I give a file name e.g. abc and click Save.
You say the project takes about an hour but my project takes about 5 minutes ONLY.
In the end in folder ?2? I have some files:
1) abc AC3 T01 3 2ch 448kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3
2) abc AC3 T02 3 2ch 448kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3
3) abc AC3 T03 2 0ch 192kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3
4) abc.d2v
but THERE IS NOT a WAV file.
Then with VFAPI I take a file named abc d2v-vfapi.avi.
I continue with DVTOOL,all OK.
And now the CDEX problem.
I open CDEX_150.
Convert then Convert WAV file(s) to Compressed Audio file(s)
Directory, click to the button with the 3 dots (?).
I go to file ?2? and select it, but no files appear (Right, there are no WAV files in ?2? file)
Where am I wrong?
Please help me.
I thank you in advance.

hey, this might not help but check to see if the "decode" option is checked instead of demux(all tracks) in the Audio/Dolby Digital menu of DVD2AVI

I had the same problem. All you had to do is to check the "decode to wav" option in the "output method" menu , because it's disabled by default...

Good luck!
