I had a Wii when it first came out! The D2A chipset. Though last Christmas, people would offer $500 for a Wii, so I sold it! Anyways, I got a new one just a few days ago, and it's probably the D2C Chipset. Now I want to get it modded, so I'm gonna probably go with the D2CKey and the Wiiclip. Though I also saw the ARGON chip with the programmer, but what does the programmer really do? Also... When I had backups for my old Wii, they were on some cheap Media (I think they were TDK DVD+R's). What is some good media to use for backups on the Wii? Cause the TDK ones would sometimes play, but then in a few minutes it would give an error saying the disc cannot be played! So ya, what's some good media, and is the D2CKey and Wiiclip good?
Argon is better than D2CKey even if you still wanna clip it.- want more info there's loads of threads about it - search them out if you want. If you aren't bothered then just get what you want.
JTAG programmer - programmes Argon with firmware directly from PC.
