I had got a xbox 360 flashed for someone and now it dont read originals or the backups anymore.He needed the upgrade firmware since the firmware he had on there didnt play the newer games,just the ond ones he had. Is this what they called "Bricked,Screwed or F**ked" Prob all the above. lol

Is there a way to fix this.

I only know 3 ways to fix this I told him. Call MS and tell them you got the 3ROD and you will see another one in 2 weeks,buy another one and swap out the inside,or find someone that can fix the problem here localy.

have you tried flashing back to the original firmware, which you should have saved.

Then if it works try re-flashing to the modded firmware making sure you are of course using the correct one for his model of DVD drive.

Pop in a movie. If it plays the dvd then it sounds like your friend forgot to insert your drive key into the new firmware.
