ok i have bn offered a jap psp , r they better in anyway, just wanted to know if there was any difference

is it a slim? I am not sure about better. I do know that the Japanese Psps are brighter. It might give you more annoyances when trying things with homebrew..not really, but if anything.

I have a Japanese slim - as it's on cfw there are really no regional differences that affect its functionality. All the menus are in English but the instruction manual was in Japanese - but no problem, just download an English language version on line.

NEVER had any compatability problems with official games/software or homebrew.
