Please could someone help with my frustration? I am downloading wii iso's but having a few problems, i am extracting them to the desktop and using imgburn to burn but to no avail, i am using verbatim DVD+R discs and my drive is a sony DVD RW AW-G170A ATA Device it starts to burn and ejects the disc saying completed but it takes the disc back in to verify and after about 10-35 % says there is an error and i have to cancel the burn, i have wasted numerous discs and am getting frustated as i'm sure there is only something little that i'm doing wrong. Could someone please help me 07791635747 i will call you back if required.
Many Thanks in advance for any help i may receive

1. Are you burning at 4X?

2. IMHO, Skip the verify. the best way to tell whether your burn is good is well, just try to load the disc.

3. Are you running AnyDVD? If you are running AnyDVD, it is known to cause problems with verify.

Try these first. I just burned an image with Memorex DVD+R on a Sony burner last night and it went fine. I NEVER verify my writes.

Hi, thanks for your reply, i'm not running anydvd i have nero on here and imgburn but as for any other program similar i have nothing. The only reason it verifies is it's the way it came on when i installed it on my system, do i just click it to take it off and just let it burn without taking the disc back in to verify? Also after i have downloaded the iso and extracted it to desktop when i click on it sometimes it says the archive is either in unknown format or damaged now i also do ds games and these always say this too but never had any problems burning these to disc, where am i going wrong?
Thanks again.
