I just recently returned my Dazzle Platinum after messing around with it. I was only able to capture footage from the Xbox360 using the composite connection. (which was horrible even when running through a signal distributor, the S-Video did not work). With composite, you can barely distinguish things you can while using component or VGA.
I've got my VGA cables running from the 360 to the TV. Is there any way I could split the signal and send one to the TV and the other to a VGA--> S-Video cable? I'd connect the S-video to a camcorder and capture it that way.
*I know it may not be as simple as just buying one of those splitter cables, or is it? If it were to work, I think an amplifier would have to be used to maintain a quality picture on the TV and camcorder. For those of you with knowledge of video/VGA signals and conversion, please help me out. Thanks
Its a VGA to TV Scan Converter. This might actually do the trick, 360 via VGA cable into the box, VGA loops out to the TV, while it sends out a S-Video signal. Again I'd send that S-Video signal to a camcorder.
