Ubuntu help with flash and HDD sharing needed.

Does anyone know how to install flash on Ubuntu 7.10?
Ive fully updated the system, and when I go on youtube or some other flash website I click install missing plugins but it says none supported.
Ive tried to download it off the Adobe site but im not sure how to use them files with the terminal and stuff.

Also I heard before that in linux there is a way you can sort of share the HDD. Like so when im on linux I can still use all the pictures, videos and music on the PS3 OS.
Is this very risky to do? If it is I wont bother now that I finally got wifi working :)
