At the NAB yearly meeting this week, Sony has reaffirmed its commitment to Blu-ray Java (BD-J) and announced new upgrades to all authoring software by Sony and third party sources. Good....any time Sony does something that is user friendly....it is a good thing.

I like my Sony products...but they have been known....from time to time...to come up with some dumb proprietary sh*t. I was amazed that my PS3 used a standard HDMI cable...on both ends!
