DVDDecrypter and SmartRipper Error..PLEASE HELP

Has anyone encountered this problem?
When I rip a DVD movie with these programs. the VOB file will play, BUT the timebase seems screwed up. When I hit play, the slide indicator immediately goes to the end before it starts to play the DVD. So when I try to encode with XMPEG, it thinks it's reached the end of the VOB file before it even starts. ?!?!?
I'm not sure, but I think it only seems to happy with newer DVDs....

HELP HELP!

try using differnt programs....i use Smartripper, DVD2AVI and TMPGenc and have no prblems...also there is a very easy guide on afterdanw that your can follow.
