I'm using the svid out on a tosh sattelite 1955 to play a DVD, using windvd 4. Problem is that the desktop is larger than the TV screen, and pans around as the mouse hits the edge of the screen. It doesn't seem to matter what I set the GF440 resolution to.

Anyone know how to fit the desktop to the TV screen with the nvidia chipset?

no clue- i can't watch dvd's on my tv out, because it comes up as a black window. same with any other vid. except when i get lucky, and a vid shows up- then i can start watching videos- but not dvd's, ever.
