I been wondering why 3.6 is still on the market when there is 3.8 Coder available.

Is there something about the 3.6 that the 3.8 can't do?

V3.6 is just cheaper than V3.8, also some people might not want the cheating function (offered in V3.8).

I've also heard that 3.8's game compatibility list is smaller, which is wierd for an updated piece of software. But noone's confirmed this for me yet.

Smaller compatibility list? Where did you hear that? I've yet to run into a game that wouldn't load using v3.8 or v3.6

3.8 is compatible with everything I've thrown at it. I don't think 3.8 is any less compatible with backups than 3.6
