Lets get one thing straight: Backing up SecuRom is a pain but if u follow these instructions, you should get a working copy every time. I finally got a working copy of Jedi Academy doing this.
1. Make a image with alcohol using the protection settings that clony provides for you.
2. Once your done with that, right click on the image file and mount it on the device. (You need a virtual drive to do this)
3.Copy everything off of the cd except the exe filez which are encrypted with the securom protection.
4. After u r done with that, go to http:/www.ishouldreadforumrules.com and go look for fixed exe filez for ur game. (I think no-cd cracks will work) Get the most recent fixed exe.
5. Once u have found and downloaded them, copy them into the folder where u copied the filez from the cd where they originally were on the cd.
6. Burn the game with nero.
If anything seems confusing about this, just ask for help. I won't bite ur head off. I can make things clearer if u don't comprehend.

I don't endorse using a "fixed exe"= no cd patch.
Programs like BlindWrite 4.x, 5.x, Alcohol 120% and CloneCD& TwinPeak Tool can make a "modified" backup (play disc) without having to use a ""fixed exe".
And people wonder why they can't update the game using a "fixed exe"..... If you search our forum you'll find guides on how to backup SecuROM "properly" m8.

Afterdawn forums doesn't endorse the use of "cracks" (fixed exe's) as this is "piracy" related.
