memory stick problem

guys, i have a problem about my sony memory stick 4gb (not supported by magic gate), my psp can't read my memory stick, and even i format it to my psp, some group of codes are flashing, i format it to my pc but windows was unable to format my memory stick, what should i do? guys pls help me i can't buy a new one

Sounds like a fake memory stick. Where did you get it from, and how long ago?
Some fake memory sticks work to a certain extent, but the only real way to guarentee it would be to buy a new, original memory stick.

ok lets say its fake,i buy it in good condition,im using it for 5 months,it became broke when im transferring game,1st thing happened,i can format it to my psp,but i need to format it many times to psp,and when the format is complete,when i enter to the root of memory stick,lots of error files coming out,some bad fonts,characters and the computer detects my memory stick 1gb only.

that is like buying a memory card off ebay because 99% of memory card's on ebay are fake
