What the heck are you talking about? Now I'm puzzled too.
I see nuttin in my DVD2One that sez user defined anything.
BTW....since we're not actually at yer house watching u and familiar with whatever yer doing, it would be helpful if you'd ask complete questions when you need assistance.
Step 1. Launch DVD2One, hit next.
Step 2. There are three drop down menus, one where it says "Destination", the other "Copy Mode", the other "Compression Mode". If you hit the drop down menu in "Destination" you'll see three options: DVD+ or - R(W), User Defined 1 and User Defined 2.
Hence my question......
Why are there two "User Defined" options? Shouldn't one be enough?

I think, the user defined just allows you to set your own target size.....and I think the +/-rw just sets a generic value for standard sizes of +/-rw.....
I maybe wrong though....
I just use user defined one and set the size to 4400Mb....
LOL....I stand corrected concerning the user defined stuff. Guess I need to get better glue.
Since I burn movies to DVD's, I leave mine set to DVD+-RW at 4450mb. Since one of the user defined spots defaults to 700mb, I now remember (months ago) assuming that setting was for doing CD's.
Tho I've never had a problem making the file size 4472mb which was the default, I've read some posts where folks mentioned that Nero sometimes has issues over 4450mb.
It may have been put there to make that option available in the event some other medium became avail in the future. Or....mebbe it's there so folks can customize the output size on unique projects. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
